ANNIE ABRAHAM
Dr. Annie Abraham is a Clinical Associate Professor and Family Nurse Practitioner Track Coordinator at Baylor University’s Louise Herrington School of Nursing. With a strong foundation in graduate nursing education and clinical practice, she brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role.
A Certified Nurse Educator, Dr. Abraham is recognized for her innovative, evidence-based teaching strategies and commitment to active learning. Her educational philosophy centers on mentorship, student support, and cultivating a safe, engaging learning environment. She seamlessly integrates current clinical guidelines and research into her instruction, preparing future Advanced Practice Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Dr. Abraham is a published author and a frequent presenter at regional, national, and international conferences, where she shares her expertise in primary care and nursing education. She is a faculty advisor for Nurses Christian Fellowship and leads international mission trips to India, offering nursing students transformative experiences in global health, cultural sensitivity, and service learning.
In addition to her academic and clinical roles, Dr. Abraham is active in local, state, and national professional organizations. She serves as the chair of the Texas Nurse Practitioners’ Nominating Committee and as the APRN chair of the Indian Nurses Association of North Texas. Her approach to leadership reflects a deep commitment to servant leadership, educational excellence, and the advancement of the nursing profession.
