STEPHANIE ATKINSON
Dr. Stephanie Atkinson has been a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2011. She received her undergraduate training from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Science from Texas Woman’s University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Johns Hopkins University. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and President of North Texas Nurse Practitioners, and she currently serves as a Legislative Ambassador for Texas Nurse Practitioners. She has held teaching positions at Texas Woman’s University and Johns Hopkins University. Her dedication to precepting Nurse Practitioner students earned her the NTNP Preceptor of the Year award in 2020. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and golden retrievers, Boris and Willow.
