MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner Program
As a dedicated Registered Nurse for the past four years, Douglas has worked locally and traveled across the country taking care of patients in need. His passion for nursing has led him to furthering his education and nursing skills to pursue an Advanced Practice Nursing degree to become a Nurse Practitioner.
Douglas has specifically specialized in Pediatrics so far in his nursing career but wanted to pivot into a provider role serving a different demographic. He has an interest in working with HIV/AIDS care and research with special consideration to the homeless and youth populations that are affected.
The intersectionality of these demographics make this particular area especially important to him as he has always felt the need to help care for these underserved populations.
