TNP FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Chardé Young, a Tyler, Texas native, is a graduate student at the University of Texas at Tyler, and is a proud member of TNP and its affiliate, East Texas Nurse Practitioners.
In 2016, she earned her associates degree from Tyler Junior College, and continued her studies at UT Tyler, where in 2018, she obtained her BSN. Since 2018, Chardé has completed a rigorous Emergency Room Internship and Residency, and has worked to serve her community, and other communities as an emergency room nurse.
Last year, Chardé decided she wanted to be more involved in maintaining the health and well-being of the patients in her community, which led her to apply to UT Tyler’s Family Nurse Practitioner program. In the future, she aspires to create a scholarship to help fund the dreams of others, as TNP has done for her.
