As a Texas Nurse Practitioner, you’ve already taken the first step by being a member. Your dedication to caring for Texans makes a real difference every day. By giving back through one of TNP’s funds or initiatives, you can further strengthen the profession, support your colleagues, and help shape the future of healthcare in our state. Below are meaningful ways you can continue to make an impact.
Ways to Give Back
TNP POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE (PAC)
Supporting Leaders Who Support NPs
The TNP PAC helps elect and keep in office state public officials—regardless of party affiliation—who champion legislative priorities that expand patient access to quality healthcare and recognize nurse practitioners as essential providers. The PAC also promotes political education and encourages active participation in the legislative process among NPs.
This is a member-funded PAC, and all TNP members are encouraged to contribute and make their voices heard. (Corporate contributions are not allowed.)
ADVOCACY
Fueling the Fight for Full Practice Authority
Gifts to the Texas Nurse Practitioners Advocacy Fund directly support the work that drives our mission forward. Your contribution helps fund lobbying efforts, coalition building, expert witness testimony, and participation in key meetings across the state.
Every dollar helps lay the groundwork for achieving full practice authority for all Texas nurse practitioners.
NP VOICE MEDIA FUND
Amplifying the NP Story Across Texas
The Media Voice Advocacy Fund is TNP’s dedicated fund for public awareness, advocacy messaging, and strategic outreach that elevates the role of nurse practitioners across Texas. Your contribution directly supports media efforts that spotlight how NP-led care expands access, strengthens communities, and improves patient outcomes.
Gifts to this fund make it possible for us to produce compelling videos, run targeted digital and social media campaigns, partner with local media outlets, deploy billboards, and share real stories from the field. Support the fund today and help us strengthen the voice of Texas NPs!
