Dr. Kimberly Posey, PhD, DNP, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, GS-C, FAANP, is an Associate Professor of Professional Practice at Texas Christian University’s Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences, where she coordinates the Executive Nurse Leadership & Practice DNP and MSN Nurse Educator programs. With more than 25 years of clinical and academic experience, she is dedicated to preparing and mentoring nurse practitioners and nursing leaders who are equipped to improve care and lead change in complex healthcare environments.

A Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and a Distinguished Educator in Gerontological Nursing, Dr. Posey has contributed to national NP competencies, published in peer-reviewed journals, and presented internationally, nationally, and regionally on NP education, interprofessional learning, faculty development, age-friendly care, and advanced practice nursing leadership. She currently serves as President of the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association and is committed to advancing NP education, strengthening the APRN workforce, and preparing the next generation of nurse practitioners to lead with clinical excellence, innovation, and purpose.
