Implementation of UPSTF Criteria to Identify Female Patients at Risk of Osteoporosis
This project aimed to improve osteoporosis screening among post-menopausal women by enhancing healthcare provider knowledge, increasing the use of standardized screening tools, and addressing pre-existing conditions in risk assessments. The intervention improved practitioner knowledge and screening recommendations for at-risk patients, emphasizing the crucial role of increasing practitioner knowledge in effective osteoporosis management.
