VICE PRESIDENT

DR. LUTRICIA HARRISON
DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

I am Dr. Lutricia Harrison DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, a primary care provider in North Houston, serving in a clinic focused on underserved areas. Inspired by my mother, a compassionate nurse, I pursued advanced nursing degrees, obtaining my MSN from Prairie View A&M University in 2004 and my DNP from the University of Alabama in 2013.

Beyond clinical care, I am passionate about nursing education. I serve as Clinical Adjunct Faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Center and teach Pharmacology at Simmons University. I actively engage in advocacy for Nurse Practitioners’ independent practice in Texas and am a founding member of the National Black Nurse Practitioner Association, holding leadership roles and currently chairing the education committee.

Recognized for my contributions, I was honored with the President’s Award from Texas Nurse Practitioners in 2019 and am currently serving as Secretary on the TNP Board.

My work extends to health ministry in my church and leadership in health initiatives for the North Harris County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
