The Texas Board of Nursing (BON) safeguards the welfare of Texans by ensuring every licensed nurse practices safely and competently.
To support this mission, the BON is recruiting Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) to serve as expert witnesses across multiple specialties, including (but not limited to): mental health/psychiatry, labor and delivery, emergency care, school nursing, correctional health, neonatal care, hospice, skilled nursing, pediatric inpatient/outpatient, and adult inpatient/outpatient care.
Role
– Consult in disciplinary proceedings
– Review records and prepare expert reports
– Provide testimony at depositions, trials, or hearings
