Carole Moore entered the field of nursing in the early 1990s by progressing through each of the educational levels, beginning as an LVN. She graduated from Tarleton State University with an ADN (1993) and the University of Texas at Austin with a BSN (1995). After spending several years in the emergency and critical care arenas, she obtained an MNSc with an Acute Care NP focus from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (2005). As an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, she specializes in cardiopulmonary health and spent time working with Bariatric Surgery. She enjoys part-time work with both the University Occupational Health Partners in College Station and the Veterans Evaluation Services. Additionally, she works directly with clients, guiding them as they improve their overall health and wellness, which includes a robust weight-loss program. Education remains a high priority in both her practice and personal life. She is a published author, educator, and speaker. She is happily married to a gospel preacher and is a mother of 3, a grandmother of 7, and great-grandmother of 2 precious girls.
