The American Academy of Nursing has announced its 2026 Class of Fellows, recognizing an accomplished group of nurse leaders whose contributions have significantly improved health outcomes and advanced the nursing profession. Those selected represent 39 states, the District of Columbia, and 17 countries, reflecting the profession’s broad national and global impact. Seven of these incredible individuals represent our amazing state of Texas and are members of Texas Nurse Practitioners.
The Fellows will be recognized during the Academy’s Induction Ceremony and Soirée on October 10, 2026, one of nursing’s most prestigious professional honors. The ceremony celebrates exceptional nurses whose leadership, service, and lasting impact have improved the lives of individuals, families, and communities worldwide.
Congratulations to our Texas NPs selected for the 2026 AAN Fellow class! You make Texas NPs proud!
