Texas nurses can now upload their continuing education (CE) documentation directly through the Texas Nurse Portal.
Important Dates:
CE uploads will be required for license renewals and reactivations starting September 1, 2026. The module is available now, so you can get familiar with the process ahead of time.
How to Upload Your CE:
- Log in to your Texas Nurse Portal
- Select “Add Continuing Education” next to your license

What You Need to Know:
- Beginning September 1, 2026, you must upload proof of all required CE before submitting your renewal or reactivation application.
- Acceptable CE documentation includes certificates of completion and transcripts.
- Make sure your CE meets the Texas Board of Nursing’s requirements—review accepted providers and topics before uploading.
